OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Cruisin’ Couples Classic Car Club’s in-house membership is a non profit organization formed for the primary purpose of the preservation of antique and classic automobiles and the entire hobby of collectable car cruising…

FOUNDING PRINCIPALS

The promotion of the hobby of Classic Car Cruisin’ and preserving these works of art for future generations forms the common thread which joins car enthusiasts all over the country. We believe that this hobby promotes a healthy pastime for couples who seek to relive their younger years vicariously, through the time capsule of an old, classic automobile, whether it be a hot rod, a customized souped-up machine or a car just like the one ‘Dad’ used to drive. This for many was the first real thing they owned and bought with their own money. For many, it was the beginning of responsibility and a loss of innocence.

As a 501 ( C ) ( 4 ) non-profit organization, we will assist and contribute to charitable organizations dedicated to helping Families and Children in our community and BEYOND. At the first formal meeting of the year the Board of Directors, shall determine with membership approval, the Charity or charities we will support, but generally it will be one to benefit families and children in the State of Florida.

This non-profit Organization is not about street racing or any other form of racing. This Organization will, as one of its goals, educate those who would glamorize street racing and thus discourage our young people to pursue such activities. At the same time, we will oppose those who ADVOCATE the crushing of these works of art and would forbid their use on public roads under the guise of reducing pollution. Our ‘pursuit of happiness’ is being challenged, not our air quality.

This Organization is ‘A’ political. It is not affiliated with a political party, democrat, republican, conservative or liberal. We do however want to make others aware of the economic impact of our hobby. This recreation reaches far beyond the antique car parts industry. It impacts hotels, restaurants, memorabilia & collectibles as well as the environment. These hobbyists travel to distant places all over the states. They stay at hotels and motels; they eat at restaurants and go shopping for a variety of items that have nothing to do with cars. They buy club shirts, medallions, and pictures of their cars. They attract others to the shows where they display these “Works of Art” and set a fine example for future generations. Instead of wasting energy destroying old things they individually, with no government subsidy, make old things look new again and thus honor Americas past.
